Much to the chagrin of her mother and her estranged husband, Kim has invited Jim, a visiting classical musician, to stay in a spare room in her family’s old farmhouse. This is so out of character – she knows almost nothing about Jim, or classical music, for that matter. In the aftermath of a family tragedy, Kim has sought solace at the farm, a quiet place away from the city.
